Business Intelligence & Data Engineering Analyst – FTC

Role Overview

Experian is a global data and technology company seeking a junior Business Intelligence & Data Engineering Analyst to support the development of dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics solutions. The role is a 12-month FTC and is based in Nottingham, with 40% of the time spent in the office.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will work with Power BI, Python, SQL, and AWS to build and enhance dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics solutions. They will partner with business and technical team members to turn data into meaningful insights.

This role is suitable for a junior Business Intelligence & Data Engineering Analyst with some programming skills in Python and SQL, familiarity with data visualization or BI tools, and experience with data concepts such as tables, relationships, joins, aggregations, and data quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
• Some programming skills in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with data visualization or BI tools i.e. Power BI
• Academic or personal projects creating dashboards, ETL pipelines, or data engineering
• Understanding of basic data concepts such as tables, relationships, joins, aggregations, and data quality
• Some technical skills in one or more of the following – REST APIs, JSON, MySQL, AWS, GIT
