Role Overview
We are looking for an extremely analytical, hands-on, and business-oriented Lead Data Analytics to lead our Growth analytics track. This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, Product, and Partnerships, acting as a strategic data partner to uncover growth opportunities, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and help teams make better decisions through data.
What You Will Do
Own the end-to-end analytics strategy across our primary growth levers—including Paid Media, Referrals, CRM Lifecycle, Partnerships, and multi-product expansion. Lead and mentor a high-performing team composed of a Data Analyst and a Data Scientist, providing strategic direction, raising the bar on analytical and technical delivery, and helping the team continuously improve how they operate.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will be comfortable moving quickly, getting hands-on when needed, and working closely with cross-functional teams to continuously learn, iterate, and drive growth.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Growth Analytics, or Analytics Engineering within high-growth B2C tech companies, fintechs, neobanks, or top-tier data/marketing analytics practices
- Expert SQL & Data Manipulation: Exceptional, hands-on SQL skills; comfortable querying large-scale transaction and event databases, modeling relational data, and optimizing query performance.
- Growth Analytics Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in at least one (ideally multiple) key growth levers: Paid Media performance, CRM/Lifecycle incrementality, Referral loops, Branding/MMM, or Partner acquisition.
- Advanced Experimentation & Statistics: Proven track record designing and analyzing A/B tests, multivariate experiments, and incrementality frameworks with statistical rigor.
- Data Science / Technical Foundation: Hands-on proficiency in Python for analytical modeling, data manipulation, and exploratory analysis. Formal coursework or background in Data Science, ML, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering, or Statistics is highly valued.
- Track Record of People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and elevate data analysts and data scientists without losing hands-on technical edge.
- Business Acumen & Bias for Action: Ability to balance complex long-term analytical projects with immediate ‘quick wins’, prioritizing high-impact solutions over unnecessary complexity.
- Strong Communication & Stakeholder Influence: Fluency in translating complex data insights into concise, strategic narratives for founders, product leads, and cross-functional teams.
