Senior Finance Operations & Transition Specialist

Role Overview

The Senior Finance Operations & Transition Specialist will be responsible for closing and year-end continuity, finance manager coverage, supervision of accounting, BPO/shared-service interface, controls and compliance, knowledge capture and handover, transition to the permanent Senior Accountant, process stabilisation, and future-model input.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities include coordinating and securing month-end and year-end closes, advising and challenging the General Manager, supervising accounting work, managing customer credit exposure, handling treasury matters, ensuring tax calculations and filings, and acting as the senior local interface with Genpact and shared Finance.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of finance experience, a strong month-end and year-end close, statutory reporting and controls background, and experience with SAP or a comparable ERP in a BPO/shared-services environment.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of finance experience
• Degree in Finance or Accounting, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and of local statutory and tax requirements
• Proficient in Excel
• Professional business English, oral and written
