Revenue Operations Representative

Role Overview

This position is part of the FirstEnergy Pennsylvania Electric Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. The employee will perform various duties to encourage the collection of delinquent accounts, adhere to safety rules, and communicate effectively with customers.

What You Will Do

The main responsibilities include communicating with customers, initiating referrals to CARES representatives, maintaining and balancing daily customer transactions, and documenting adverse safety conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with equivalent work-related experience
• Ability to work safely and follow applicable safety rules
• Extensive knowledge of the Operating Company’s service areas and basic electricity
• Manual dexterity to operate handheld devices and accurately input information
• Ability to do considerable walking or driving, ascend and descend steps and ladders, work in all weather conditions, and navigate across rough terrain
• Ability to lift and carry more than 25 pounds
• Ability to read and report meter data accurately, read and take appropriate action based upon reports and work orders, deal with customers and the public in a professional and courteous manner
• Ability to communicate effectively and operate two-way radios, telephones, cellular phones, and other communication devices
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance
