Marketing and Communications Assistant

Role Overview

The Marketing and Communications Assistant is a part-time, 1-year fixed-term role based at Ravenhall, with a hybrid working arrangement. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will provide hands-on coordination and administrative support across Flavorite’s marketing, brand and communications activities.

What You Will Do

Support the implementation of marketing plans and campaigns, coordinate new product development activities, support packaging review projects, provide day-to-day marketing administration, assist with brand and retailer campaigns, coordinate social media content, maintain and update website content, monitor social media and website performance, and conduct desktop research.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Around 1–3 years’ experience in marketing or communications; exposure to FMCG, fresh produce or agriculture will be advantageous. A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, agribusiness or a related field, or currently studying towards one, is desirable.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Practical experience with social media account management, content scheduling, basic content creation and website updates
• Strong organisation and project coordination skills
• Sound administration skills, attention to detail and confidence using spreadsheets, budget reports, invoice processing and record-keeping
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Canva, social media scheduling tools and website content management systems, together with the willingness to learn new tools
