Data Scientist

Role Overview

As the head of the territorial analysis section for crime, you will supervise a team of three data scientists and participate in defining the work program and the section’s orientations.

What You Will Do

You will produce and valorize departmental, communal, and infra-communal data from administrative data on recorded offenses by security interior services and victimization surveys.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will represent the office of territorial studies and statistics and on relations with the population within the SSM and outside, on the section’s themes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in data science / geomatics / statistics or sociology / economics / demography with a quantitative bias
• Recognized experience and significant skills in spatial analysis methods
• Hierarchical or functional management experience
• Knowledge of the public statistics network (production / study)
• Knowledge of the post’s themes (crime, security, delinquency and / or territorial analysis, mobility and tourism)
