Business Analytics Manager (Remote)

Remote Full TimeLondon, England, United Kingdom (Remote)Forbes Advisor

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Business Analytics Manager who can turn complex business performance data into clear insights, recommendations, and better commercial decisions. You’ll lead a small team of Analysts working directly with our business verticals, acting as a trusted analytics partner to General Managers and their commercial teams.

What You Will Do

You’ll manage a small team of Analysts aligned to different business verticals, helping them become trusted partners to their stakeholders while maintaining a consistent standard of analytical quality across the organisation. You’ll help establish confidence in the commercial data used to manage the business, and guide your team in translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This is an opportunity to shape how Analytics supports the business, developing a team that proactively identifies opportunities rather than simply responding to reporting requests. You’ll work directly with senior business leaders on meaningful commercial challenges, lead a talented team of Analysts, and collaborate with specialists across Engineering, BI, Data Science, and Revenue Operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in business analytics, commercial analytics, or performance analytics, including experience managing or mentoring Analysts.
  • Strong commercial understanding, with experience analysing revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, sales performance, or other key business drivers.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex findings clearly and influence commercial decisions.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience with BI and visualisation platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • A strong understanding of data quality, reporting accuracy, and the importance of reconciling commercial information with financial outcomes.
  • Experience prioritising analytical work across multiple stakeholders, balancing commercial urgency with analytical quality.
  • Experience coaching and developing Analysts, helping them build both technical capability and commercial confidence.
  • A proactive, curious approach to problem solving, with the ability to identify opportunities rather than simply respond to requests.
