The Assistant Director of Programming, Outreach and Partnerships provides leadership and direction for district-wide programming, library outreach, and community partnerships.

Requirements

  • Provide leadership and operational oversight to staff within the Programming & Outreach department.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of district-wide strategies for programming, outreach, community partnerships and bookmobile services.
  • Guide, coach, and evaluate staff performance, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee and manage budgets, staffing and resource allocation for areas of responsibility, ensuring financial accountability and efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor community needs, develop outreach strategies and cultivate partnerships with organizations to broaden community engagement and expand access to library services.
