Role Overview
Fulcrum is seeking an experienced People Operations Generalist to own and scale day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You Will Do
Manage the full employee lifecycle, administer payroll and benefits, ensure compliance with employment laws, and continuously improve HR processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive People Operations or Human Resources experience, strong knowledge of federal, California, and San Francisco employment laws, and experience working with international EOR providers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive People Operations or Human Resources experience
- Experience supporting a startup or high-growth company with broad HR responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with Gusto or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform
- Strong knowledge of federal, California, and San Francisco employment laws
- Experience administering multi-state payroll and benefits
- Experience managing employee investigations and sensitive employee relations matters
- Experience working with international EOR providers
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Experience creating HR policies and scaling HR processes
- Experience supporting compensation planning
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification is a plus
