Business Intelligence & Analytics Specialist

Role Overview

As a Business Intelligence & Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and further developing business intelligence reports, dashboards, and analytical evaluations. You will work closely with departments, report users, and adjacent data and BI functions to capture, analyze, and transfer requirements into suitable BI solutions.

Your tasks will include developing, maintaining, and further developing reports, dashboards, and analytical evaluations to support operational and strategic decisions, translating professional requirements into structured and user-friendly reporting solutions, and ensuring the professional correctness, data quality, and traceability of provided reports and key figures.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of business intelligence, analysis, and reporting concepts
• Very good experience with the Microsoft Power BI stack for developing and maintaining reports and dashboards
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for analyzing, structuring, and evaluating complex data
• Very good SQL knowledge for querying, analyzing, and validating data from relational data sources
• Experience in applying DAX to create and optimize key figures and calculation logic
• Secure understanding of data models, key figure systems, and analytical relationships
• Experience with complex calculation logic and business rules, ideally in the context of sales performance management, incentive compensation, or commercial analytics
• Ability to structure complex data in a structured and user-friendly way
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
