Channel Marketing Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Channel Marketing Manager at Garmin’s U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for working at the intersections of product development, marketing, sales, and retail execution with a broad responsibility to develop and implement a marketing strategy roadmap for a specific set of retail partners spanning all Garmin product categories.

What You Will Do

Applies knowledge of Garmin products, marketing process, and markets served to foster channel partner success. Owns marketing plans and strategy for all retail execution projects for a defined set of retail partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• a minimum of 5 years of previous Marketing or Sales experience
• Demonstrated product or project management experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced, and challenging environment
• Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
• Driven problem solver with proven success in solving difficult problems
• Excellent time management and follow-up skills with the ability to generate and support pragmatic solutions that meet Garmin’s market launch requirements, while maintaining high quality standards
• Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality
• Ability to partner with other team members utilizing feedback while working towards a collaborative outcome
