Role Overview
As a data analyst, you will work within the Knowledge and Exploration department and translate numbers into stories that guide policy and strategy. You will discover trends, identify opportunities, and help the municipalities of Deventer, Olst-Wijhe, and Raalte make better, faster, and more informed decisions.
What You Will Do
You will work on collecting, managing, and analyzing data from various sources, from internal data to information from, for example, the CBS, the police, and the province. You will turn raw data into useful insights, dashboards, and reports that strengthen policy and decision-making.

Requirements
- A minimum of a completed HBO degree, for example, in the field of social sciences, social geography, planning, data science, or a comparable field;
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a comparable position;
- Good knowledge of research and statistics;
- Knowledge of databases and experience with querying and structuring data;
- Experience with tools such as R, PowerBI, Excel, SPSS, and SQL (or comparable packages);
- The ability to develop or improve scripts and algorithms;
- Excellent mastery of the Dutch language (we would like to receive your CV and letter in Dutch)

- Salary: € 3625 – € 5714 (scale 9, scale 10, as of January 2027)
- A fixed-term contract for a period of 1 year, with a view to a permanent employment contract
