Role Overview

As a Data Analyst at GDIT, you’ll power innovation to drive mission impact and grow your expertise to power your career forward. You will play a crucial role in processing and analyzing acoustic data from submarine sensors to support mission requirements.

What You Will Do

You will support acoustic data reduction, processing, analysis and report generation for matters of national security. You will collaborate with US Navy and government representatives along with teammates from private industry.

The Data Analyst must have expertise in Data Analytics, Statistics, knowledge of US Navy submarines and/or acoustics/sensors and familiarity of React (front end) and Kubernetes (back end) orchestration. You will utilize your ability to make strong analytical recommendations and decisions regarding the data and future processing system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Data Analytics, Statistics, knowledge of US Navy submarines and/or acoustics/sensors and familiarity of React (front end) and Kubernetes (back end) orchestration
  • Security clearance level: SECRET
  • US citizenship required
