Lead Salesforce Developer

Role Overview

Glean is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to provide hands-on technical leadership for our Salesforce platform and revenue systems. The role involves designing and building scalable Salesforce solutions, developing and maintaining custom Salesforce functionality, and leading technical decisions.

What You Will Do

The Lead Salesforce Developer will own the technical architecture and delivery of Salesforce solutions, design scalable Salesforce solutions, develop and maintain custom Salesforce functionality, and establish reliable data synchronization patterns.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10+ years of Salesforce development experience, strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs, and a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and integration patterns.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and integration patterns
• Experience designing and troubleshooting REST and SOAP integrations
• Experience working with middleware or integration platforms and enterprise application integrations
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, error handling, retries, monitoring, observability, and data synchronization
• Experience with Git and structured CI/CD or Salesforce release-management practices
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests and deployment validation processes
• Experience leading technical design, architecture reviews, code reviews, and engineering standards
• Strong production support, debugging, incident management, and root-cause analysis experience
• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and influence technical decisions
• Strong stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
