Data Engineer Specialist – WebOps – Web Routing & DNS

Role Overview

As part of the Data Engineering team, the role ensures users have access to aligned, accurate and useful business metrics and dimensions that support their operations. The team delivers on its mission, collaborates with partners to achieve the following: Single-source-of-truth data that is robust, high-quality and trusted, Informative visualizations supporting reporting and understanding, Automated insights and analyses that enhance decision making at all levels, Reporting infrastructure that is stable and scalable.

What You Will Do

Develop ETL pipelines, optimize performance, perform analytics, and maintain code quality. Build fast, scalable, and reliable data pipelines for Google Analytics data to flow into GCP BigQuery, ensure existing data pipelines are optimized/troubleshooted for faster data responses, develop visualizations for impactful data insights to enable business decisions, and build, optimize, clean the SQL code to ensure adherence to Google standards & optimal performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience working with advanced SQL: manipulating and managing large datasets to derive insights.

• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with GCP
