Senior Finance Systems Analyst

Role Overview

The Senior Finance Systems Analyst will partner with global Finance teams to evaluate SAP S/4HANA capabilities and translate long-term transformational visions into structured, executable systems roadmaps. This role will bridge the gap between non-technical business stakeholders and technical delivery teams by translating complex business requirements into clear functional specifications, system diagrams, and user stories.

The Senior Finance Systems Analyst will be responsible for partnering directly with global Finance teams, evaluating SAP S/4HANA capabilities, translating long-term transformational visions into structured, executable systems roadmaps, and communicating project status, risks, and remediation plans to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience in business systems analysis, systems implementation, or product management within corporate financial systems
• 5 years of experience leading functional architecture or transformation programs specifically within a SAP S/4HANA environment
• Experience translating business strategy and accounting/finance needs into technical roadmaps and engineering specifications
• Experience partnering with engineering to drive the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Master’s degree, MBA, CPA, or SAP S/4HANA Finance functional certifications
• Experience managing and steering external Systems Integrator (SI) partners alongside internal software engineering resources
• Experience implementing AI, RPA, and other automation technologies
• Knowledge of accounting and core finance processes, including standard finance systems (e.g., SAP, BlackLine, etc.)
• Strong familiarity with integrating S/4HANA with modern cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery), proprietary custom software, and external third-party tools via APIs and middleware
• Familiarity with Signavio and other process mapping and orchestration tools
