Senior Financial Analyst, Technical Infrastructure, Supply Chain

Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with the Supply Chain team to build KPIs for business performance, define investment strategies to reduce cost, and manage financial processes. The role requires 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.

What You Will Do

The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with the Supply Chain team to understand the large and growing costs required to support Google’s data centers, develop an in-depth understanding of the resources required to support a global supply chain, and partner with other Finance, Accounting, and Business/Product teams to ensure regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, and efficient data collection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function
• Experience partnering with supply chain teams to establish operational KPIs across warehousing, freight, and contract manufacturing spend
• Demonstrated track record of defining capital investment strategies and driving cost optimization to support efficient, non-linear business scaling
• Background leading monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning cycles and management reporting
• Expertise conducting should-cost modeling, competitive benchmarking, and profitability analysis to guide vendor negotiations and cost-reduction opportunities
• Proven success collaborating across cross-functional finance and accounting teams to ensure regulatory compliance and strict adherence to corporate accounting standards
