Role Overview
The Senior Research and Data Analyst will be the analytical and technical lead on pay transparency reporting, responsible for ensuring the data employers submit is sound, turning it into public reporting, and building and improving the system that collects it.
What You Will Do
The role involves reviewing employer submissions, developing practical tools and guidance, responding to technical questions, producing the Bureau’s annual pay transparency report, and providing expert advice on data quality and reporting methodologies.

Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, data science, computer science, mathematics, or a social science discipline with a substantial quantitative component
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience
- Demonstrated experience analyzing large administrative or survey datasets
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least one statistical or analytical programming language
- Demonstrated experience producing written analytical reports or public-facing data products
- Knowledge of web application development
- Written and spoken competence in English
