Senior Manager, Finance & Business Operations

Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Finance & Business Operations will be the finance and operations partner for the SDS leadership team, responsible for measuring the business, keeping the forecast honest, and ensuring accurate payroll.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include closing revenue reviews, monthly P&L reviews, business reviews, commissions calculation, revenue operations, cooperation with accounting, board reporting, forecasting, automation, operating cadence, and process improvements.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in commercial finance or FP&A, strong Excel and Sheets skills, and experience with subscription metrics and Stripe data. They will be a skilled collaborator and troubleshooter, able to work deep into details and use AI tools to speed up their work.

Requirements

• 4+ years in Commercial Finance or FP&A, at a subscription, SaaS or data business
• Strong Excel and Sheets skills; comfortable reviewing a P&L end to end, down to the GL
• Ability to support month-end close with accounting: revenue tie-outs and flux commentary
• Experience with subscription metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, cohort) and Stripe data
• Strong systems knowledge: Netsuite, Ramp, Stripe, Cube or similar FP&A tools
• Ability to sit with a business leader and turn their output into a clear story
• Skilled collaborator and troubleshooter, willing to work deep into the details
• You already use AI tools to speed up your work and want to do more of it
• Detail-oriented on anything that touches someone’s paycheck
