Director, FP&A

Role Overview

The Director of FP&A owns financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across Gravitics, working closely with the CFO and finance team to make strategic decisions. The role involves building and maturing the FP&A function as the company grows, including the team, models, and operating cadence.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include planning and forecasting, program and manufacturing finance, executive and investor reporting, and systems, process, and team development.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including 3+ years leading teams or functions, and experience in aerospace, space, defense, or advanced hardware manufacturing. Advanced financial modeling skills and strong command of Excel and modern planning tools are also required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including 3+ years leading teams or functions
• Experience in aerospace, space, defense, or advanced hardware manufacturing
• Advanced financial modeling skills and strong command of Excel and modern planning tools
• Experience with program or project cost tracking and long-cycle, milestone-based revenue
• Ability to communicate complex financial insight clearly to executives, engineers, and investors
