Role Overview
The role is a pure sales position responsible for owning the full sales cycle from lead generation to signed mandate for the Research & Consulting vertical. The candidate will build and work a pipeline, run outreach, engage with senior buyers, shape and defend proposals, negotiate commercials, and close mandates.

The key responsibilities include sales and revenue generation, bid management and proposal development, systems, data, and process discipline, and partnerships and sector intelligence.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Work, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years in a quota-carrying B2B/enterprise sales role with proven experience owning the full sales cycle from lead gen to closure
- Direct experience selling into the social impact sector (CSR teams, corporate foundations, development organizations, NGOs, government, or multilaterals)
- Proven experience selling research, evaluation, advisory, or consulting services, including responding to RFPs and ToRs
- Working knowledge of social research and evaluation concepts (Theory of Change, indicators, quantitative/qualitative sampling, methods) to scope engagements credibly
- Proven CRM discipline (Bigin, Zoho, HubSpot, etc.) and working proficiency with AI assistants (e.g., Claude) for research, prospecting, and writing
- Strong numerical skills for effort/cost modeling, funnel analysis, and data-driven decision making
