Summary

We are looking for a commercially focused and analytically driven Data Analysis / Sales Operations Analytics Manager to support the continued growth and performance of our sales operations function. This role will play a critical part in transforming complex sales and customer data into actionable insights that improve commercial performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, CRM, Network Development, Finance, and IT teams, you will lead the development of reporting frameworks, dashboards, forecasting models, and analytics solutions that support data-driven decision making across the full customer lifecycle.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced analytics professional with strong automotive OEM experience, ideally within the new energy vehicle sector, who is passionate about turning data into meaningful business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of end-to-end sales analytics and reporting capabilities across the full customer journey, including leads, visits, test drives, conversion, delivery, retention, and repurchase
  • Build and maintain robust sales performance dashboards, KPI frameworks, and automated reporting systems to provide real-time business visibility and actionable insights
  • Analyse sales, channel, customer, and regional performance data to identify trends, opportunities, operational risks, and areas for improvement
  • Deliver regular commercial performance reviews and present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Support forecasting, demand planning, and sales strategy development through predictive analytics and data-driven modelling
  • Partner with Marketing and CRM teams to analyse customer behaviour, segmentation, and conversion trends to support precision marketing and personalized customer engagement strategies
  • Work collaboratively with IT and digital teams to enhance CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales platforms to improve automation, efficiency, and data quality
  • Conduct root cause analysis to understand performance gaps and recommend practical actions to improve commercial effectiveness and customer outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement in data governance, reporting accuracy, analytical capability, and business intelligence processes
  • Support the wider business in developing a data-led culture and promote best practice in reporting and analytical decision making

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in sales operations, commercial analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis within an automotive OEM environment; experience within new energy vehicles is advantageous
  • Strong expertise in sales performance analysis, data modelling, forecasting, customer insights, and commercial reporting
  • Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear business recommendations and operational improvements
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation techniques
  • Strong SQL capability and experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization and dashboarding tools
  • Knowledge of Python or R for analytics, automation, or statistical modelling is beneficial
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence and present at different levels of the business
  • A proactive, commercially minded, and solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality insights within fast-paced environments
  • A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and data-driven decision making

Additional Information

  • This role will be working from our Coventry office on-site, full time
  • Frequent travel might be required to visit different entities. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions
