Role Overview

The Business Development Manager is a support role with a client-facing destination, responsible for building presentations, proposals, and sales deliverables, and managing the asset library and pipeline records. The role requires 3-5 years of experience in supporting sales or business development in a B2B agency or professional services environment.

The responsibilities include participating in meetings with prospective clients, coordinating subject matter experts, creative resources, and leadership input, building client presentations, developing proposals, and drafting statements of work for new business pursuits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Direct experience producing proposals and client presentations that won work
  • Strong writing across formats, and the ability to move from a rough brief to a finished deliverable
  • Fluency with CRM and pipeline tools, and real discipline about data hygiene
  • Comfort in a client meeting, including the judgment to know when to speak and when to take notes

Benefits

  • Base salary of $75,000 to $85,000
