Role Overview

The Sales Operations Manager will play a key role in driving commercial excellence, optimizing sales performance, and supporting strategic business growth across the Austrian market. The role involves acting as a trusted business partner to Sales, Key Account Management, and Business Unit stakeholders by enhancing sales processes, leveraging data-driven insights, and enabling efficient execution of commercial activities.

What You Will Do

The Sales Operations Manager will drive continuous improvement of sales processes and workflows, analyze sales performance, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and key business metrics, and provide actionable insights to management. The role also involves owning and optimizing CRM processes and tools, supporting local Key Account Managers in customer interactions, and developing accurate sales forecasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Sales Management, Project Management, or a comparable analytical role
  • Experience within the energy, electrical, industrial, automation, or manufacturing sectors is highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, including data management and process optimization
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales reporting, forecasting, KPI management, and business performance analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Strong interest in digitalization and artificial intelligence
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a dynamic, matrix-driven environment
  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
