Marketing and Business Development Manager

Role Overview

The Marketing and Business Development Manager will work closely with the German IP Practice and international colleagues to develop and implement marketing and business development strategies. The role involves leading the local IP-M&BD team, driving international initiatives, and working with stakeholders to implement business plans.

What You Will Do

The Marketing and Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing high-quality pitches, creating market analyses, and designing client events. They will also ensure that M&BD processes, social media activities, and internal communication work reliably.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have around eight years of experience in marketing and business development, with a focus on international law firms or complex professional services environments. They will have excellent German and English language skills, as well as a strong understanding of Microsoft-365 applications.

Requirements

• A successfully completed study, preferably in business administration, marketing, communication or a comparable field;
• Around eight years of relevant professional experience, including sound experience in marketing and business development;
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking;
• Joy in collaboration with different personalities and stakeholders as well as a careful, independent and reliable way of working;
• The ability to proactively drive topics, take others with you and convey complex content clearly and target-oriented;
• Very good knowledge of the common Microsoft-365 applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams;
• Curiosity about digital tools, new technologies and AI applications as well as the willingness to get involved in new topics and systems;
