Area Sales Manager

Role Overview

Join the Hogan team in Montgomery, AL as an Area Sales Manager. This senior sales & account management position is responsible for sales performance within an assigned sales territory for our contractual product lines. The role involves tenaciously pursuing and developing new contractual commercial clients through effective outside sales & marketing activity, managing and cultivating existing accounts, and executing the company’s sales & marketing strategies.

What You Will Do

Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and lead generation activities. Conduct in-depth customer needs assessments and deliver customized solutions. Develop positive business relationships within all levels of a client’s organization, including C level executives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Industry or tangent industry sales experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Accounting or equivalent working experience
• 4+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of success
• Industry or tangent industry sales experience is strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• No required overnight travel (except for an occasional meeting at corporate HQ)
• A valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on your record in the past 3 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
