Role Overview
The Associate Data Scientist will work on the Pro Intelligence team, partnering with Pro sales reps and the Pro Desk to turn data into insights and solutions that drive growth with our most valuable customers.
What You Will Do
You will work closely with the Pro Ops team to understand the business, translate their needs into analytical problems, and deliver data-driven solutions using advanced SQL, Tableau and other BI tools.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and working with large datasets
- Advanced experience with Tableau or other BI tools
- Experience solving complex analytical problems and using statistical techniques to uncover insights and drive business decisions
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior business stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge or exposure to Prescriptive Modeling
- Experience in a modern scripting language (preferably Python)
- Exposure to predictive modeling, including model building, validation and performance monitoring
