Role Overview

We’re seeking dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Directors to join our growing Professional Services team. As one of the leading insurance brokers in the market, we’re offering an outstanding opportunity for self-motivated, business development professionals to join us as we focus our Professional Services growth strategy.

What You Will Do

Proactively identify and open new conversations with prospective Professional Services clients from scratch, as well as nurturing and developing an existing pipeline of relationships. Focus new business development on mid-market and larger Professional Services clients, working across different areas of the sector.

Why It Might Be a Fit

A proven track record in sales, with demonstrable success in originating and winning new business. Experience within, or an existing network across, Professional Services is advantageous e.g. Architects, Engineering, Accountants, Law firms, etc.; however, candidates from other sectors with a strong sales background will also be considered.

Requirements

• A proven track record in sales, with demonstrable success in originating and winning new business.
• Experience within, or an existing network across, Professional Services is advantageous e.g. Architects, Engineering, Accountants, Law firms, etc.; however, candidates from other sectors with a strong sales background will also be considered.
• Demonstratable experience in building relationships and operating confidently at C-suite level across large and international clients.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the initiative to identify and pursue opportunities independently.
• An entrepreneurial, proactive mindset and the adaptability to work across a changing landscape.
• Strong personal organisation, with the structure and discipline to manage a pipeline effectively.
