Role Overview
The Business and Data Analyst will lead and support the analysis, design, and delivery activities required to implement strategic data initiatives, with a particular focus on the Head Office Data Lake programme. The role combines strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and hands-on data analysis capabilities to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into effective data solutions.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Head Office teams to analyse business requirements, understand data needs, assess data quality, and define target-state processes and reporting requirements.

Requirements
- A degree or equivalent
- Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Financial Services change-related roles with a focus on Risk
- Experience in the design and implementation of Risk processes
- Solid understanding of Risk principles, methodologies, measures, systems, and processes
- Strong Data analysis skills e.g. SQL, Python
- Strong stakeholder interaction and project management skills (across both waterfall and agile methodologies)
- Strong documentation and MS Office skills
