Account Executive / Strategic Account Executive

As an Account Executive / Strategic Account Executive at Times Union Media Group, you will own the sales cycle, manage a book of business, build client relationships, and drive new business using cutting-edge tools and collaborating with internal teams. You will be supported by AI-powered onboarding and continuous training.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience for Account Executive and 5+ years for Strategic Account Executive role with business-to-business sales experience, preferably in media, advertising, or marketing
  • A successful history of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience preferred
