Director of Finance & Business Operations

Role Overview

Own finance, accounting, HR, legal, facilities, and reporting for Infinite Machine, a company building premium electric vehicles.

What You Will Do

Manage financial planning, cash, inventory, accounting, HR, and legal operations, as well as support equity and debt fundraising.

The role requires strong financial modeling skills, experience in equity or debt raises, and comfort managing outside counsel and advisors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in finance, business operations, or strategy
• Experience in hardware, consumer products, automotive, or another business with physical inventory and overseas manufacturing
• Strong financial modeling skills and a working command of accounting, including GAAP, the monthly close, and audit
• Direct experience on an equity or debt raise, from model to diligence to close
• Comfort managing outside counsel, accountants, and advisors, and judgment about when to bring them in
• Working knowledge of HR operations, payroll, and benefits at a small company
• Clear writing and the ability to explain numbers to people outside finance
• Comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, and solving problems independently in a fast-moving environment
