Business Development Manager

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager New Business, you will help InPost make growth in the Netherlands a reality by searching for interesting e-commerce organizations, opening doors, and taking prospects along in the story behind InPost. You will not sell a standard logistical contract, but let organizations see that there is a smart and future-oriented alternative to traditional home delivery.

What You Will Do

You will talk to prospects about e-commerce, technology, consumer behavior, sustainability, costs, and the future of delivery. You understand their business, ask the right questions, and then set up a strong and conceptual story. You build your own pipeline, approach new prospects, and hold talks with decision-makers.

Requirements

• HBO or university work and thinking level
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, or new business
• Experience with complex commercial processes with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles
• Experience with consultative selling and commercial negotiations at director and board level
• A true hunter mentality: you are strong in identifying, opening, and developing new prospects and get energy from winning complex, strategically important accounts
• Affinity with e-commerce, technology, and innovation, and a good understanding of the dynamics within larger retailers and e-commerce players
• An entrepreneurial and creative commercial mindset, combined with strong communicative and conceptual skills
• Full-time availability and willingness to regularly visit customers and prospects
• A valid driving license
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
