Data Scientist

Role Overview

The Data Scientist performs analysis of multiple data sources using statistical analysis and computer science to solve business problems. Able to communicate analytical results generate improved business decisions and profitability. Uses data mining tools and programming languages to prepare data for analysis and business decision making.

What You Will Do

Lead statistical analysis and build models for various and complex business problems. Analyze and prepare complex and new data sources and incorporate into analytical solutions. Communicate results to stakeholders and mid-level leadership, able to communicate business impact of work.

Requirements

• 4 yr degree in a STEM field with 2-3 years of highly relevant experience
• Master’s degree in a STEM field with 1-2 years of work experience
• PhD in a STEM field with 0-1 years of work experience
• Proficient in at least 3 of the 6 tools: Spark, Python, R, SQL, Git Version Control, AWS/Azure/GCP
