We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable, secure and high-performing data processing solutions that support critical financial market operations and business outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in software engineering, data engineering or a similar technical role
- Strong experience designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and distributed data processing systems
- Experience working within financial services, trading environments or other regulated industries will be highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of data engineering principles, ETL processes, data modelling and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and modern data engineering tooling
- Experience working with high-availability, secure and compliance-focused systems
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Experience working in agile or iterative software delivery environments
- Understanding of data governance, security, auditability and operational resilience practices
