Senior Data Engineer – Teknosys

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Teknosys, who has previously worked in the field of Data Engineering and can bring value to Teknosys by benefitting from previous engagements. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, truthful, innovative, collaborative and customer focused.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Engineering domain
• Strong experience working with traditional data warehouses and modern cloud data platforms
• Understanding of open-source data engineering tools including Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, NiFi, Hadoop, Hive, and Presto
• In-depth and hands-on knowledge of Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Data Management
• Experience implementing modern data architecture patterns
• Knowledge of solution architecture of complex data ecosystems
• Experience with data modeling tools and expertise in dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, data vault, and normalization techniques
• Experience with enterprise ETL tools
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, SQL, or Java for data pipeline development
• Experience working with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and automation tools
• Working experience in one or more business areas and industries
• Expertise in working on RFPs, technical proposals, and solution architecture documentation
• Project management experience of delivering complex data engineering projects
