Financial Analyst, Motion Picture Finance

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst position is a key member of the MP Divisional Finance team, supporting film label operations, title-level analytics, recurring forecasts, cash flow reporting, and corporate submissions.

What You Will Do

Maintain monthly and ongoing title analytics, support quarterly forecast cycles, assist in preparation of quarterly cash forecast, and support quarterly analyses and schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 0-1 years of experience
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to manage multiple recurring deliverables, follow through on open items, and bring projects to timely completion
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Distribution, and Label Operation partners
• Ability to streamline or improve forecast, reporting, and submission processes, including proficiency with AI tools to enhance efficiency or analysis
• Working knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS concepts and entertainment finance processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
