Senior Salesforce Developer

Role Overview

The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for the organization’s Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud instance to support program management and community engagement. This role designs, develops, and maintains custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and automation using declarative tools and Apex.

Customizes and enhances Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud to support program management and operational needs. Designs, develops, and maintains custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and automation using declarative tools and Apex.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work-related experience.
• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and declarative configuration.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant) strongly preferred.
• Strong Salesforce development skills translating complex business processes to effective Salesforce solutions.
• Proficient with Salesforce data modeling, SOQL, SOSL, security, user management, and reporting; experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrating Salesforce with external systems.
• Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and a strong understanding of nonprofit business processes such as fundraising, donor management, and program delivery preferred.
• Experience with data migration, deduplication, and data quality management.
• Ability to provide technical leadership, embrace responsibility, work independently, and set own goals.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Outstanding poise and personal presence with exceptional written, presentation, and listening communication skills.
