Senior Financial Analyst (COGS, Gross Margin & Delivery KPIs)

Role Overview

KMS is a global AI-native technology services company looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to own the cost side of delivery, focusing on COGS, gross margin, and delivery KPIs. The role will work closely with various teams to produce monthly reports and analyze data.

What You Will Do

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for gross margin calculation and COGS reconciliation, gross margin analysis, and delivery KPIs. This includes running the monthly COGS reconciliation and gross margin reporting cycle, producing delivery KPIs, and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, management accounting, or cost accounting, with a strong understanding of how people’s costs drive margin. They will also have hands-on experience with COGS or cost reconciliation, gross margin analysis, and working with IT or system teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• 3–5 years in FP&A, management accounting or cost accounting
• Experience in IT services, outsourcing or another people-based services business
• Hands-on experience with COGS or cost reconciliation to the GL/P&L and gross margin analysis
• Strong understanding of how people’s costs drive margin: payroll, allocations, utilization, billing and cost rates
• Experience working with IT or system teams to define data requirements and automate reporting
• Advanced Excel, ERP experience (NetSuite preferred), plus hands-on experience with system dashboards and reporting tools
• Good written and spoken English for reporting to US based stakeholders
