Role Overview
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing key customer accounts, driving revenue growth, achieving performance targets, and promoting Kodiak’s full suite of products and services. This role requires a proactive professional who can navigate complex organizational structures, build strong relationships with decision-makers, and execute strategic plans to increase market share.
What You Will Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts, fostering long-term relationships, navigate complex organizational structures, build relationships with key decision-makers, provide routine reports on strategic goals, milestones, and customer’s total available market.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and have reliable transportation
- Pass the required physical examination, including drug and alcohol screening (scheduled and random)
- Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in gas compression services or related equipment
- Proven ability to manage large accounts and negotiate complex contracts
- Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting
- Strong integrity and ethical decision-making
- Thorough understanding of gas compression equipment, applications, and deployment in upstream and midstream markets
- Ability to speak competently about compression equipment from application placement to repairs
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and operational constraints
- Ability to translate technical features into customer value
- Clear, persuasive, and confident communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong presentation skills and basic financial literacy
- Proficiency in CRM systems and standard computer applications
