LaAmistad is seeking a dynamic, creative, and mission-driven Communications Manager to lead and execute the organization’s marketing and communications strategy.
Requirements
- Develop and execute an annual, cross-channel marketing and communications plan.
- Write, design, and manage all communication materials, including monthly newsletters, annual reports, and marketing collateral.
- Use social media and newsletters to tell LaAmistad’s story in creative, inspiring, and authentic ways that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing and social media campaigns.
- Manage and update website content to ensure timely, relevant, and engaging information.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media partners, influencers, and community leaders.
- Support organizational events and initiatives through promotional strategies and visual storytelling.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for moderate periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to program sites and events.
