Role Overview
Embody the company’s mission statement, centered on values of respect, service, and excellence. Act as the primary point of contact for customers visiting the showroom, handle inbound and outbound calls, and provide exceptional service to all customers.
What You Will Do
Prepare quotes, fill customer orders, and maintain inventory control using the nationally-linked inventory management system. Be willing to assist in the warehouse, including loading and unloading materials as needed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior sales experience preferred, but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team and independently with customers, and a willingness to take on new challenges are required.
Requirements
- Prior sales experience preferred, but not required
- High level of integrity and commitment to customer service
- Strong interest in sales and/or retail, as evidenced by previous job experience or education
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently with customers
- Computer skills, including use of a keyboard and monitor
- Goal-oriented with a willingness to take on new challenges
- Knowledge of building principles and products is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual / Spanish proficiency a plus
