Director of People Operations

Role Overview

This role owns how it works to be an employee at Legora on the backend, operationalising every stage of the employee journey, making sure every moment is supported by clean systems, accurate data, and processes that scale.

What You Will Do

The full employee lifecycle, operationally. Every touchpoint from offer to exit, mapped, documented, and supported end to end. HRIS and data integrity. Onboarding new hires into the HRIS, data entry, and data QA.

Requirements

• 8+ years in People Operations or HR Operations, including leading a team and building out local, in-market HR capability as a company scales into new geographies
• Deep HRIS expertise across complex, multidisciplinary system landscapes, with a strong interest in data quality, integrations, AI and tools
• A track record of building and scaling lifecycle processes and SOPs internationally, and of moving work from manual to automated
• Strong grasp of multi-jurisdiction employment compliance across EMEA, AMER, and APAC
• Comfort operating in a tiered People model, with clear judgment on what your team owns directly and what belongs with Employee Relations, Legal, or Total Rewards
• An operator’s mindset: detail-obsessed, systems-thinking, and a high bar for accuracy
• Comfort partnering across Finance, Legal, and IT, and communicating clearly with employees and leaders alike
• Fluency in English, which is our working language
