Manager, Business Development Operations

Role Overview

The Manager of Business Development Operations will lead the deployment of our optimized CRM, oversee donor and funder data, and drive CRM adoption across the Business Development team. The role will also involve producing Business Development reporting, designing and refining workflows, and project managing the Business Development enablement function.

The successful candidate will lead the deployment of our optimized CRM, configure project management software, and produce Business Development reporting. They will also design and refine Business Development workflows, track proposals and reports, and project manage the Business Development enablement function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, nonprofit management, or related field
• 5–7 years of experience in development, fundraising, or business development operations
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
• Demonstrated experience deploying a CRM, including testing, training, and driving user adoption
• Experience configuring and rolling out project management or workflow tools for a team
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in a work setting to transform processes
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including experience building dashboards and reports
• Experience designing and improving workflows and cross-functional processes
• Working knowledge of gift and grant accounting, such as reconciliation and restricted versus unrestricted funds
• Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Collaborative spirit, demonstrated by active listening, clear communication, being a team player, and earning trust across departments
