Financial Planning Analyst

Role Overview

The Financial Planning Analyst supports Longroad Energy’s financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical activities across the Company’s development and corporate functions.

What You Will Do

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, analyze actual-to-budget and forecast variance, and perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and other ad hoc business analysis to support financial planning, capital allocation, and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or business analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong critical thinking and quantitative skills, with intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand the business drivers behind financial results
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial information and actionable insights to stakeholders across different levels of the organization
