Associate Data Scientist

Role Overview

The Associate Data Scientist will be accountable for delivering on Key Projects related to Business Cases, database and supporting Data Strategy teams. The role involves designing and developing new methodologies, quantitative models, analysis and commentary to enhance existing or new processes.

What You Will Do

Essential day-to-day responsibilities include data handling, data processing and programming, developing automated solutions, analyzing legal entity content, and working with business, content and product groups for large-scale analytics problems.

Requirements

• Higher education in Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering in Computer Science with Data science certification
• Extensive experience using Python or R or equivalent
• Proficient in using tools and libraries such as scikit-learn, numpy, pandas and jupyter
• Solid relational database skills
• Solid understanding of statistics and statistical language such as R
• Ability to handle large quantities of data
• Strong written, communication and presentation skills
