Role Overview
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator serves as the chapter’s marketing and storytelling representative for the San Antonio and South Texas market, supporting content creation, media engagement, social media execution, and event coverage while expanding the chapter’s visibility and storytelling capacity across Central & South Texas.
What You Will Do
Support the development team in creating impactful development materials and storytelling, write accurate and emotionally resonant stories, manage social media accounts, create draft content, and support digital execution across email, website, and social channels.

Requirements
- 2+ years of professional work experience in communications and marketing
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related field
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing platforms, and/or tools such as Canva or video editing software
- Ability to write and edit compelling stories across platforms with emotional clarity and cultural relevance
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively across the organization in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills, detail-oriented, and organized
- High level of discretion to sensitive constituent information and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility to attend occasional early morning, evening, and weekend events
- Must have reliable mode of transportation to travel across the chapter territory when needed
- Proficiency in all Microsoft computer programs
