Role Overview
The Brand Manager will work closely with other teams to ensure alignment between global/Asia branding strategy and local branding strategy, and will collaborate with regional and global brand teams to ensure consistency in brand expression, storytelling, and customer-facing experiences.
What You Will Do
The Brand Manager will support the Brand Director in executing MLJ’s unique brand value propositions, implement visual identity, determine KPIs, and manage the feedback loop. They will also develop and enhance internal brand advocacy tools, and lead internal communications for Brand team-led initiatives.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience in brand marketing, proven track record in managing vendor relationships, and excellent writing skills in Japanese. They will be able to supervise the quality of creative development, media planning, and buying, and track and articulate the return on investment of branding activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Native Japanese speaker, with fluency in English preferred
- Excellent writing skills in Japanese
- At least 10+ years of experience in brand marketing
- Proven track record in managing vendor relationships and executing integrated marketing campaigns
- Ability to supervise the quality of creative development, media planning, and buying
- Ability to track and articulate the return on investment of branding activities
