Business Development Executive

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will work within the global law firm’s Business Development team based in London, to provide comprehensive business development support across offices in the region.

What You Will Do

Primary responsibilities include working with the Senior BD Manager and practice groups to support the development and implementation of BD plans and budgets, supporting the global BD & Marketing team to translate practice group goals into specific BD tasks, and conducting market, client and competitor research and analysis to support strategic planning, client conversations and pursuit activity.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, and approximately two years’ experience in a business development and/or marketing role, ideally gained in legal, professional services, financial services or a similarly fast-paced B2B environment.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Approximately two years’ experience in a business development and/or marketing role, ideally gained in legal, professional services, financial services or a similarly fast-paced B2B environment
• Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and the global legal market
• Experience of operating in an international, matrix organisation and supporting stakeholders across multiple regions and offices
• Highly proficient with InterAction or similar CRM systems
• Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good research and analytical skills
• Commercial mindset
• Highly proficient in MS Office applications
• Highly organised and detail-focused
