Role Overview

The Market Data Analyst will be part of the Market Data Services team that manages market data vendor services, ensuring investment professionals have seamless access to essential market data and research tools. The Market Data Analyst will play a critical role in overseeing budget, forecast, and invoice management processes to optimize costs and maximize value.

What You Will Do

Support the construction of the Market Data budget, review and validate invoices, lead the month-end close process, maintain dashboard reporting, collaborate with business units, and manage purchase order creation and tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in budget, forecast, and invoice management
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including use of complex formulas, data validation, conditional formatting, pivot tables, dashboards, VBA/macros, and Power Query
• Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard reporting
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and strong financial and mathematical acumen
• Knowledge of market data usage by investment professionals
• Experience with TRG Screen Optimize Spend or similar vendor management systems
