Power BI Analyst

Role Overview

The Power BI Analyst is responsible for assisting the revenue cycle management team in monitoring revenue and accounts receivable data through Power BI reporting. The person will work with key stakeholders to transform raw data into cohesive, valuable reports capturing meaningful business insights.

What You Will Do

Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders’ needs, gather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis, and create complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or relevant fields
• Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation
• 1-3 years of experience or equivalent in a revenue cycle analytics position in the healthcare industry
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction
• Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
• A thorough understanding of best practices for efficiently working with large data sets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
